Anet will nerf this somehow and eventually, so why not take advantage of it now?

I doubt ecto will go under 4.5k, at the least.

Seriously. Shut up. It's not ruining the economy whatsoever. UW was just as easy to farm, it just took 1/4 of a second more attention to make sure you were casting the echoed copy at the right time whereas now you don't have to check.

although it was a little extreme its true, fair enough this makes ecto farming so much easier, but seriously, since when was ecto farming hard? also you will still get hit by traps on the way to the chaos plains, and you cannot clear the underworld with it because charged Blacknesses will WTFPWN you, and frankly the underworld is boring....i mean its so dull and boring clicking the same skills over and over, not taking any damage and killing things.

Ectos may experience a slight drop in price, 100g or so, but there are still the same amount of people raping those cows, beetles, and ghost horsemen for they're pinky goodness, that it problems wont do anything.

I wash my hands of this business and shall return to getting my necromancer elite luxon by farming ectos on my assassin....

The average player has already been able to get gold easily with the introduction of Zaishen Keys, so what now, nerf Z Keys somehow? Puh-lease.

Ectos have always been easy to farm, it's just that some people are more motivated to farm them than others, because, to be honest, it's mind-numbingly boring.

We shall see. I still think Ursan was the worst thing to happen to PvE, and it is pretty difficult; even for this, or protective bond to top that.

the farm is just too easy and very profitable
i'm scared that the ecto will end up as the onyx gemstone
for those who do not know about the onyx gemstone
when eotn came out i think the onyx was about 5k, now it's just merely 1k

if the permasin doesn't get nerfed, i hope the droprates will

This thread is almost fail for me. It's just like someone who has a car and wants anyone to have it too.

Warrior/ritualist is even easier than A/E SF one (sure, tried both) and no one cried for ecto prices... there is a toucher build for ranger.. lets QQ about ecto prices with that build too...! ¬¬

To be exactly, they were at a 9k value (trading) and 11k at merchant (who doesnt show them at list, but sometimes) at the weekend event and first days. Love gwen that days.. not now :P

Prices of ectos will never drop, a solo SF sin could ALWAYS solo uw to get ectos just as easily as now.

So long as people dont sell them to rare material trader, (and what tard does that) the price wont drop.

Everyone said UB would ruin doa prices, sure they dropped from 100+30 to 100+5-10 but thats still fairly expensive

I have only saied that now farming ectos with SF is too easy and too fast!
BTW w/rt drops are half or less then half of a SF assa in the same time.

BTW the ele/mesm-ele/monk build for soloing plains/pits/pools was nerfed (glyp of conc and flame dyjin haste nerfed) and it takes approximately 15 mins more than the SF assa run(doing only pits+chaos).

Protective Bond was changed in those days because a a bug could crop up in its use that would crash Anet servers. At least, that's the official statement.
